
Danira Sabic - founder
​Danira Šabić is a Bosnian educator and entrepreneur who has successfully combined her passions for teaching and culinary arts. Born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina, she pursued studies in English language and Montessori education.. Her professional journey began in London, where she did most of her studies, worked as a nanny and later as a Montessori teacher, accumulating over 15 years of experience across various countries and continents.

In 2017, Danira founded Danni's Little Kitchen, a children's cooking school in Sarajevo inspired by Montessori principles. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing children aged 3 and above to explore healthy cooking, develop motor skills, and foster independence. Activities include preparing recipes, understanding the origins of ingredients, and engaging in creative tasks related to the dishes being prepared. ​

Beyond Danni's Little Kitchen, Danira established Zdravolucija, an organization dedicated to promoting healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices among children and families. The initiative focuses on educational programs, community engagement, and advocating for healthier menus in schools and restaurants. ​

Danira's commitment to fostering international collaboration led her to participate in the Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) Fellowship Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. She was selected as a fellow in both 2022 and 2023, representing Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During her fellowship, she collaborated with organizations like Olivewood Gardens in the United States, contributing insights on children's cooking classes and nutrition education. ​
Her diverse experiences and dedication to education and healthy living continue to inspire positive changes within her community and beyond.​
